Characters.

I've never been able to keep a diary or journal due to my tenancy to modify reality. One of the reason's I'm making this a blog, instead of something private, is now I can imagine someone catching me if I go in and make changes later or say something that literally isn't possible. The downside to this is that now I must live in constant fear of someone I care about reading this and taking offense... So, taking a tip from The Big Bang Theory, I will be changing names for my ally's privacy sake. If requested, I might delete this entire blog if my friends or family ever find it.

Anyways, outside of Mom and Dad, I only have a few people you really need to know about. I often refer to Dad as Baldy or Grasshopper, but I think that that's all you need to know about these folks.

Misgen is another teenaged female who has gauges, snake bites, a septum piercing, and plans on getting multiple tattoos. Currently she is living in my household. She is one of the kindest, funniest, and strongest people I know, with a habit of making up her own words and just going for it. She has introduced me to a surprising majority of my favorite activities, and is also the only person to have ever punched me. She cannot feel her feet, and therefore laughs her ass of whenever someone stubs their toe. I suspect that she might leave Logos on the floor just for shit and giggles. She's probably the most grounding person in my life, since she will happily listen to me bitch and whine to a point, but once I'm being unbearable she's happy to tell me so. I will forever love her for that.

Sunshine was the first person I befriended in school. She is soft spoken, quiet, and diabolically evil. Out of all thee people I know, she has the most cutting sense of humor. I try to sing "You are my sunshine" to her everyday, and she has started to request my spinning, hopping, etc while sing this tribute to her glory. She wants to be a nurse, currently, and while I think she is more than capable of that goal, I think world dictator is a better one.

Mystic is an odd character, as while I met her in real life, I feel like I know her much better through online sources. She's very generous, and might be the most well-meaning of my allies, though she suffers from a variety of anxiety issues. She tends to get involved with people who are semi-parasitic, who rely on her too heavily while giving little in return. Which might say a lot about me, but I kind of dread and deny that possibility.

TP is a male friend of mine who went to college a while ago, but maintains contact. Sometimes I co-op with him in games, and he's a very nice fellow. One of the best senses of humor I know, and makes damn fine chili.

Broseidon
is a highly intelligent male and a band geek. He has freakishly long, slender-fingers and is currently developing his own video-game that I'm not sure I'm allowed to talk about. He is very funny, and shifts between huge amounts of self confidence and days when he seems to just want to die. I met him when Misgen was like, "Dude, there's a guy in my biology class who does this thing called hillbilly dancing, and it's just weird", and I was like, "Cool, I'll have to meet him." So I did.

Dom is that one kid who knows EVERYTHING about that one thing. Right now, it's Skyrim. We've literally had two hour conversations about the game, and somehow I've always enjoyed myself talking to him. He has a mannerism that makes you think he might not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's actually very intelligent. I've never seem him in a bad mood.

I could also mention Big Mama, Sammy, Chase, Shooter, Man-whore, Mr. Fabulous, Indigo, Fezic, Buttercup, Facial-hair, Door, and any number of other people, but I think that that covers the people I'm most likely to talk about regularly. With one last addition...

Dingo...
I find it likely that ever male I court will have the term "The Boy" attached to him at some point, so that's why I'm not using that as his name. Dingo is... Nice. I've been dating him for more then a year. I do love him, but I've kind of wanted to break up with him for a long time. It's a confusing thing for me. I'm trying not to be a drama queen about it, so here's a simple pro/con list:

Pros: Kind, intelligent, extremely attractive, well-mannered, enough of a dork that he will accept my dorky-ness, charming, can take a joke, listens... More things I'm not thinking of at the moment...

Cons: Boring. Seems to absorb the personality of whatever family member is currently "on his side", has no want for independence, won't stand up to me, hates spiders, knows nothing about biology, takes me far to seriously, can't type... More things I'm not thinking of at the moment...

I initiated the relationship, and I will likely end it. The question is when. I want to try to end it on good terns, because in ten years Dingo might be a worth-while man. Furthermore, this is just a high-school relationship, something that is just for fun... I just can't figure out if I'm having fun or not.

Welp, there you go, Society. Thanks for reading. Have a good day, drive safely.

Bye-bye,
~`Ellen
